These are structural motorcycle frame components such as subframe sections, triple clamps, engine mounts and frame gussets, machined on 4- and 5-axis CNC centers. We cut them from 6061-T6 or 7075-T6 aluminum, with 4140 steel for selected high-stress parts. They serve frame builders, race teams and aftermarket brands that need accurate structural parts in small quantities.

- Compound-angle mounts finished on 5-axis centers
- 7075-T6 for bolt-on parts, 6061-T6 for welding
- CMM-checked hole positions between mounting points
- Anodizing, powder coat or black oxide finishes

## How we make it
Frame parts connect several other assemblies, so each one has several datum features that must agree. On 4-axis machines we index the part to reach side mounts and through-bores; on 5-axis machines we finish compound-angle faces such as steering-head interfaces and shock mounts. Thin webs are machined with step-down strategies to avoid chatter, and deburring is done before final measurement.

6061-T6 aluminum can be welded into larger assemblies, though welding reduces local strength unless the part is re-heat-treated. 7075-T6 is stronger and preferred for triple clamps and bolt-on parts that are never welded. 4140 alloy steel is used where hardness or fatigue resistance at threaded joints matters. Finishes include Type II or hard anodizing for aluminum and powder coat or black oxide for steel.

Bore sizes, positional tolerances between mounting points and flatness of clamp faces are verified on a CMM. The first article is fully reported, and critical features are checked on every part. Common applications are race triple clamps, rear-set mounting plates, subframe brackets, engine hanger plates and frame repair sections for café racers and custom builds.

## FAQ
### Can machined aluminum frame parts be welded together?
6061 aluminum can be welded, but the heat-affected zone loses much of its T6 strength unless the assembly is re-heat-treated. 7075 is generally not welded. For structural joints, we usually recommend bolted designs or weld-then-machine sequences, and we can review your design for this before quoting.

### What tolerance do you hold on triple clamp bores?
Standard features are held to ±0.05 mm, and critical bores such as fork-tube and steering-stem clamps can be held down to ±0.01 mm or tighter depending on size. We check diameter, roundness and spacing on a CMM and record the values in the first-article report.

### How do I get a quote for 4/5-axis cnc machined aluminum motorcycle frame parts?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
