# CNC Machined Stainless Steel Motorbike Components

Category: Automotive & Motorcycle Parts
URL: https://www.machined-parts-factory.com/products/automotive-motorcycle-parts/cnc-machined-stainless-steel-motorbike-components/

These are stainless steel motorbike components made by CNC milling and turning: footpeg mounts, axle sleeves and spacers, brake caliper brackets, exhaust flanges, levers and fasteners. Complex parts use multi-axis machining; round parts are turned. Finishes include polishing, brushing, bead blasting and painting. They suit motorcycle manufacturers, custom builders and accessory brands needing durable stainless parts.

- Multi-axis milled brackets aligned to frame points
- Axle spacers turned with square faces
- 304, 316 or hardened 17-4PH stainless
- Polished, brushed, blasted or painted finishes

## How we make it
Brackets and mounts with angled faces are milled on 4- and 5-axis machines, keeping bolt holes aligned to suspension and frame points. Axle sleeves and spacers are turned with tight diameters and square faces for correct bearing preload. Exhaust flanges are milled and drilled for stud patterns. Edges are radiused for appearance and safety.

304 stainless is common for its strength, corrosion resistance and appearance; 316 is used in coastal environments; 17-4PH can be hardened for highly stressed parts such as levers or brackets. Polished stainless looks premium; brushed and bead blasted finishes hide scratches. Painting or powder coating adds color, and passivation is applied to prevent rust spots.

Bolt hole positions, bore sizes and spacer lengths are checked against drawings, and critical dimensions are inspected before packing. Finishes are inspected for uniformity. Typical parts include footpeg brackets, axle spacers, brake caliper brackets, exhaust flanges, chain adjusters, levers and stainless fasteners for street, touring, off-road and custom motorcycles, made to drawing or sample.

## FAQ
### Are stainless steel motorbike parts heavier than aluminum?
Yes, stainless steel is nearly three times denser than aluminum, so parts are heavier for the same size. However, it is stronger and more durable, so some parts can be thinner. Stainless suits parts that face wear, heat or corrosion, while aluminum suits weight-critical parts.

### How do you prevent rust spots on stainless motorcycle parts?
Rust spots usually come from embedded iron particles from tools or handling. Passivation after machining removes these contaminants and restores the protective layer. We also use dedicated tools and clean handling for stainless parts, and recommend regular cleaning in salty conditions.

### How do I get a quote for cnc machined stainless steel motorbike components?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
