# CNC Machined Brass Fittings and Precision Parts

Category: Precision CNC Machined Parts

These are CNC machined brass parts such as pipe fittings, valve bodies, hose connectors, threaded inserts, nozzles and decorative hardware. We turn and mill them from C36000, H59 or H62 brass and finish them as machined, polished or plated with nickel or chrome. They are made for plumbing, pneumatic and equipment manufacturers who need custom brass components with clean threads.

- BSP, NPT and metric threads gauge-checked
- Turn-mill completes cross holes and flats
- C36000, H59, H62 and lead-free brass grades
- Nickel or chrome plating, polished or as-machined

## How we make it
Brass is fast to machine, so most fittings are produced on CNC lathes or turn-mill centers from hexagonal or round bar. Threads such as BSP, NPT and metric are single-point turned or tapped, with sealing faces turned smooth. Cross holes and wrench flats are added on live-tooling lathes so the part is complete in one cycle, which keeps thread and bore alignment consistent.

C36000 free-cutting brass offers the best machinability. H59 is economical and strong; H62 has more copper, making it more ductile and better for parts that are crimped or bent. For drinking water, lead-free brass grades should be specified. Nickel or chrome plating improves appearance and corrosion resistance, while as-machined brass develops a natural patina over time.

Threads are verified with gauges, sealing surfaces are inspected for scratches, and sealing faces on pressure fittings are checked for roughness. Critical dimensions are checked on every part. Typical uses include compression and push-fit fittings, gas valve components, pneumatic connectors, garden hose fittings, threaded inserts for plastics and decorative brass hardware.

## FAQ
### Which brass grade should I use for drinking water fittings?
Standard C36000 and H59 contain lead to improve machining, so they are not suitable for potable water in many markets. Specify a lead-free brass that meets your local drinking water regulations, and we will source the grade with certificates for traceability.

### What is the difference between H59 and H62 brass?
H59 has about 59 % copper and is stronger and cheaper, suitable for most machined fittings. H62 has about 62 % copper, making it more ductile, which is better for parts that are bent, crimped or riveted after machining. Both machine well on CNC lathes.

### How do I get a quote for cnc machined brass fittings and precision parts?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
