CNC Machined Brass, Stainless Steel and Titanium Parts
This service covers custom turned and milled parts across brass, stainless steel, aluminum and titanium (Gr2 and Gr5 Ti-6Al-4V) under one purchase order. Parts are made on CNC lathes and machining centers with critical features held down to ±0.01 mm. It suits engineers buying mixed-material assemblies who want one supplier and one inspection standard for every component.

How we make this part
Process, material options and inspection for cnc machined brass, stainless steel and titanium parts.
Different metals need different cutting strategies, so each job is programmed for its alloy rather than a generic recipe. Brass runs at high speed with neutral-rake tools; stainless needs constant feed to avoid work hardening; titanium calls for low speed, high coolant pressure and sharp carbide to manage heat. Turn-mill machines finish round parts complete, while prismatic parts go to 3-, 4- or 5-axis milling.
Titanium Gr5 offers the best strength-to-weight of common machinable metals and excellent corrosion resistance but costs the most to buy and cut. Stainless 304/316 balances strength and corrosion resistance at moderate cost. Brass is easy to machine and is the best value for small turned parts. Finishes are matched to material: anodizing for aluminum and titanium coloring, passivation for stainless, plating or polishing for brass.
All materials pass through the same ISO 9001 controls: first-article inspection, in-process checks and 100% inspection of critical dimensions. Mixed-material orders are segregated and labeled to prevent mix-ups, and material certificates are supplied per lot on request. Typical uses include medical instrument components, marine hardware, motorsport fasteners and robotics joints.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why does titanium machining cost more than stainless?
Titanium bar costs more per kilogram, and it must be cut at lower speeds with sharp carbide and high-pressure coolant because it holds heat at the cutting edge. That means longer cycle times and more tool wear. For non-critical parts, stainless or 7075 aluminum may meet the requirement at lower cost.
Can one order include parts in different materials?
Yes. Mixed-material orders are common. Each part is programmed and inspected to its own drawing, lots are segregated and labeled by alloy, and material certificates can be provided per material. You receive one consolidated shipment with inspection reports for each part number.
How do I get a quote for cnc machined brass, stainless steel and titanium parts?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
