Caps are turned from bar on CNC lathes: the outside profile, grip and internal bore are cut, then the valve thread is tapped. Knurls are rolled or cut, and hex or faceted shapes are milled with live tools. A small O-ring groove can be added to seal against dirt. Logos are laser engraved after anodizing for a sharp contrast.
6061 aluminum caps are light and come in many anodized colors, but they should be isolated from brass valve stems to limit galvanic corrosion; an internal O-ring or plastic insert helps. Brass caps are heavier, do not corrode against brass stems, and look good nickel or chrome plated. Stainless steel is another option for a heavy, premium feel.

Can you engrave our logo on custom valve caps?
Yes. Logos and text are laser engraved on the top or sides after anodizing, which removes the color layer and leaves a clean, permanent mark. Send a vector file such as AI, DXF or PDF. Minimum line width depends on cap size, so we will review fine details.
