CNC Milled Stainless Steel Appliance Mounting Plates
These are stainless steel and aluminum mounting plates, motor bases, heater brackets and control panel plates for household appliances, CNC milled to drawing. Plates carry motors, pumps, heating elements and electronics and must hold hole positions and flatness. They suit appliance engineers and repair parts suppliers who need durable, corrosion-resistant mounting hardware in low and medium volumes.

Manufacturing
How we make this part
Process, material options and inspection for cnc milled stainless steel appliance mounting plates.
Plates are cut from stock, faced on both sides for flatness and then drilled, tapped and slotted on 3-axis mills. Adjustment slots are milled so motors or pumps can be aligned during assembly. Countersinks are cut for flush screws, and edges are deburred to protect wiring and hands. Thicker plates may be stress relieved for flatness.
Stainless 304 is preferred where water, steam or cleaning chemicals are present, such as dishwashers and coffee machines. Aluminum 6061 is lighter and conducts heat away from electronics. Titanium and copper are used rarely for special thermal or weight needs. Brushed, bead blasted or passivated stainless finishes resist fingerprints; aluminum plates are anodized.
Flatness, hole positions and thread fit are checked on first articles and critical features on every lot. Parts are cleaned to remove machining oil before packing. Typical uses include dishwasher pump mounts, coffee machine boiler brackets, motor mounting plates, heating element supports and control panel backplates for kitchen and laundry appliances.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Should I use stainless steel or aluminum for appliance mounting plates?
Use stainless steel where water, steam or detergents are present, or where strength and rigidity matter. Aluminum is lighter, cheaper to machine and conducts heat well, suiting dry areas and electronics mounts. Avoid mixing them in wet areas without isolation, to prevent galvanic corrosion.
Can you add PEM nuts or studs to mounting plates?
Yes. For thinner plates, self-clinching nuts, studs and standoffs can be pressed in after machining to provide durable threads. For thicker plates, direct tapping is usually sufficient. We will suggest the best option based on plate thickness and assembly needs.
How do I get a quote for cnc milled stainless steel appliance mounting plates?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
