Manufacturing
How we make this part
Process, material options and inspection for stainless steel kitchen, bathroom and furniture hardware.
Round handles and fittings are turned from bar, with threaded ends and decorative grooves cut on CNC lathes. Brackets and plates are milled or laser cut and then machined. Visible surfaces receive careful finishing passes, and parts are handled with protective packaging between steps to avoid scratches. Mounting threads and holes are positioned to fit standard cabinets and fixings.
304 stainless is the standard for kitchen and bathroom hardware because it resists moisture and cleaning agents; 316 is preferred in coastal or pool areas. Carbon steel is cheaper and is powder coated or electroplated with chrome or nickel. Brushed finishes hide fingerprints; mirror polishing looks premium but shows marks. PVD adds colors such as black, gold or bronze.
Cosmetic surfaces are inspected under consistent lighting for scratches, dents and finish uniformity, and dimensions and threads are checked on every lot. Parts can be packed individually with protective film. Typical products include cabinet handles, faucet components, shower fittings, hinge pins, furniture leg connectors, shelf supports and towel rail brackets.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is 304 stainless enough for bathroom hardware?
For most indoor bathrooms, yes. 304 resists moisture and common cleaning products well. In coastal areas, swimming pools or spaces cleaned with chlorine-based products, 316 resists pitting better. Brushed or passivated surfaces also help maintain corrosion resistance.
Can you produce PVD black or gold hardware?
Yes. PVD coatings such as black, gold, bronze and gunmetal can be applied to stainless steel after polishing or brushing. PVD is thin and hard, so the underlying surface finish shows through; scratches must be removed before coating. Send a color reference to match.
How do I get a quote for stainless steel kitchen, bathroom and furniture hardware?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
